The youngest Cretaceous dinosaur-bearing unit of the Canadian prairies, exposed across southern Saskatchewan. The Frenchman Formation has yielded Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus rex, including the well-known 'Scotty' specimen, right up to the extinction boundary.
